I haven't posted since the beginning of July. I just felt like no one reads my blog, so why lose time working on it. Anyways, I just decided I would write some stuff since I am bored and don't want to go to bed yet. In other words, I am savoring the last of my kit kats and need something to help me slow down my eating.
In the past 3 months I pretty much have done nothing. I finished school and visited TyLosI in Logan for a couple days then came home. I was home for the month of August, just hanging out and I think I spent most of it at Kari's house. Haha! September came around and I missed Zeke so we decided I would go visit him for the month since I hadn't found a job yet and really no friends are in town. It was fun spending a whole month with him. Long distance relationships SUCK! A whole month is the longest we have been together together all the time. It was awesome and I'm still not sick of him. We didn't do anything special. He had classes and work pretty much the whole time besides in the evenings. I would just watch TV all day and sometimes he would bring me lunch on a break. In the evenings we went out to eat and did random stuff like feed the geese/ducks at the park, go to the mall or target. Funny story, so we decided we were going to go to the store and buy bread to go feed the duckies, on the way a commercial comes on the radio and it is for Menchies frozen yogurt. (I have heard about this place here in Tacoma but haven't had the chance to try it) So, I freak out and can't believe they have one there. We decided to go try it out. Fro Yo is our favorite thing. We have tried pretty close to all of the place just in Salt Lake! Anyways, so we go try it and it is AMAZING, so good! On our way into we see a Petsmart, Zeke loves that store, I know he's weird. As we were eating our froyo he said he wanted to get a fish. We bought like last year around this time and he didn't stay alive to long. After we ate we headed to petsmart and were looking at the fish and that night we left with two Gourami fish, three plants, an asain hut, a buddah guy, rock, food flakes, filter, air thingy and a thermometer...YEAH it was expensive. We went with an asain theme. Once we got back to campus we set it all up, then we just watched the fish swim around and get use to their new home. One was a blue gourami and the other was red, we named the blue one Powder and couldn't think of another name for the other one after I had joked about calling him Red, today his name is Red! The next day comes and we go get Menchies again, yeah it's that good and because the tank that we had was leaking, so we needed to buy a new one and while we did that we left with three fancy guppy fish and a albino catfish, a new tank and a bridge to add to the decor...Next day we ended back at the same petsmart, we knew the workers by now being the third night in a row. In the end of all of this we ended up with two gouramis, three guppy fish, one albino catfish, some type of sucker fish, 5 plants, bridge, buddah, hut, rock, heater, filter, airpump, thermometer and food..EXPENSIVE but it was awesome and now he has his aquarium he has been wanting for a while. Sorry that story was long but that was the main thing we did while I was there. Everything else was eating and hanging out with his friends. It was fun though and a good pick me up...
That leads me into the next thing. I was not able to go back to school this semester due to my lack of attention. My gpa was not up to par for the school, so I got suspended and can go back in April for Spring semester. I was so frustrated when this all happened and was depressed. Ugh, I am fine now and just trying to get it all together and be a grown up. I know how important this education is and I am so thankful for being able to attend BYU-Idaho. It is a great experience and a good time for my to grow up already.
Once I got back from visitng Zeke, I needed to get a job, so I found a babysitting job starting tomorrow. It is only Monday through Thursday. MW it is from 3-5 in the evening and TTH from 6-9 in the evening. The mom takes classes at the community college here. I am meeting the family tomorrow morning and starting tomorrow evening babysitting. I hope it all goes well. I am nervous just because I don't know the people. I was referred by a lady in my ward at church. Wish me luck!
One last exciting thing...I get to go to NEW YORK in November! Zeke's sister and her family moved there a little while ago and wants Zeke to come visit. So, I get to go with for Thanksgiving week! I am so excited! I have never been over there besides Florida. We are going to visit NY, Virginia, DC, Pennsylvania, mainly HERSHEYS!! OH YEAH! It should be fun, stay posted for more pictures and such about that trip in November!
My kit kats are gone, meaning time for bed. I know this was a long random post but this is what I have done in the past three months! Woot!
