For FHE on Monday. We made wax sculptures. It was pretty cool!
Mine is the pink one! And the others are my roomies plus one!
Materials needed:
-Bucket of water cold water
-Wax
-Crayons
-Stove
-Tin holder things, as you see in the pic. I forget the name. Lol
Instructions:
Shave the wax so you have shavings of it. Place the shavings in the tin.
Pick what color/s crayon you prefer. Peel off the wrapping around the crayon.
Break the crayons into pieces. You can either put a whole crayon in with the wax or just half of it. How ever much you prefer.
*Side Note* Do not put too many crayon in, it makes it thick and won't work as well.
You can also mix colors if you want.
Place tin with wax and crayon inside, on a burner on the stove.
Melt the wax and crayon until there are no more chunks
Then take tin and start slow an put it into the bucket of water.
Start slow and once the water covers it all, move the tin down fast.
Magic...your wax grows!
Leave it in the water for a couple seconds then bring out carefully.
And WAH-LA a wax sculpture.
It's pretty easy. I encourage everyone to try this. Especially if you had kids. They'll think its awesome!
Afterwards, do what you want with it. Lol!

OK this is the weirdest thing ever. What would you do with it afterward? But I will think I will try this with the kids.
