Last night, we had our last ward social. It was a no talent-talent show and a feast. Usually, these no talent-talent shows are funny. This one wasn't. I felt embarrassed just watching the people. But, Hey, at least they had the guts to get on stage and act stupid. More power to them. And for the feast, well, it was baked potato bar. Love those, but the potatoes were hard. Lol! It was eventful watching the roomies and an FHE brother try eat them. I didn't eat because I'd rather have a potato actually cooked. Put aside my complaints, there were a couple people that actually did a real talent. One that Keelie and I thoroughly enjoyed was when a guy did a poetry slam. He was so good at it. The poem is called Remember How We Forgot by Shane Koyczan. I encourage you to look it up and listen to it. It's very good.
In the midst of watching everyone make fools of themselves, Keelie whipped out her camera and just took some shots. I told her you should never take a picture of someone from this angle. It isn't flattering for anyone.
This is Tiffany, one of my roommates.
This is Liz, my other roommate.
And this is Keelie.
I have to say living with them for the past four months, it sure has been entertaining and interesting.
