For Thanksgiving this year, we had the whole week off from school! Awesome! I headed down to Logan, UT to see Tyana and Carlos for the weekend. We just hungout and watched movies. It was nice to see some family. I miss them. Later on Sunday, Zeke came and picked me up and we headed back to Salt Lake. I stayed there for the week. On Thanksgiving day, Zeke and I headed back to Logan. Real, quick I'm going to be girly and say, Yay for Zeke and I's first Thanksgiving together! Hehe! It was fun! It was great to be with family and enjoy the day. Judith, Carlos' mom, had wrote out the whole meal and everyone was in charge of making something. I wasn't on the list but thought it would be nice to contribute. Since, I am a horrible cook or baker and Zeke is an amazing one, he made a Lemon( but really Lime) bread. I say but really lime because I guess spanish people call limes lemons. I don't know. Haha! But they were limes, not lemons. I thought it would be weird with limes but it was AMAZING! Yum Yum! So, we brought that and we also went to Starbucks and got a gallon of their hot cocoa. I absolutely love their hot cocoa and so did everyone else who was spending Thanksgiving with us. As the day goes on we ate the food. It was so delicious! I had been watching the food channel for 2 weeks before and was craving turkey so bad. It definitely satisfied me. After eating we cleaned up and brought out the goods(dessert). There was tons of pies, cheesecake, fudge, and bread. All good! We played a couple games then some people left to go back to SLC. We relaxed, Tyana, Carlos, Zeke and I skyped the fam in Tacoma. They were all at Karis house for the day. Looked like they had tons of fun. Then we watched a movie and then it was time for bed.
Black Friday! Love it! Last year Kari and I basically did all night from midnight to 7AM. Wow, I never want to do that again. We got up at 4:30AM this year and was out of the house by 5AM. We headed to BK for some breakfast then went to Sports Authority, Best Buy, Kohls, Walmart and Bed, Bath and Beyond. It was a very successful trip for Tyana and Carlos. Haha! It was fun. After that Zeke and I headed back to SLC because he was on call for the weekend and needed to pick up the phone. The rest of the weekend we just hungout on campus because when he is on call he can't leave campus. We had friends over and he made enchiladas, YUM! and played some Just Dance 2. BTW, AWESOME! Then I headed back home Monday morning because the roads were horrible. It snowed for over 24 hours straight. It was crazy.
I am back in Rexburg and trying to finish these last 2 weeks up and then I am headed back to WA until April for Spring semester. The 26th through 1st I will be flying to Florida to spend that week with Zeke and his family. I cannot wait. It should be fun! I hope I can communicate well with his family though, they speak Spanish. I can understand some things but not well. And the weather will be upper 70's! Leaving 19 degrees to 70's. LOVE IT!
Sorry there are no pictures. I don't have a camera. It broke when I went to the sand dunes and got sand in it. :( Sad day.
