Friday the 3rd:
- Left for Logan around 8AM with a ride I got from the ride board on my school website!
- The ride was good! It was just me and the driver. She was hilarious and super nice. That made the ride less uncomfortable.
- Got to Logan about 11AM. Tyana picked me up on the Utah State campus.
- We headed to do a couple errands and then picked up Carlos from class.
- Went ran a couple more errands and then got ready to go fishing. Carlos loves fishing and wanted to try out Mantua lake that is in the canyon on your way to SLC. Got our lunches made, rounded everybody up and away we went. It was Tyana, Carlos, Me, Carlos' two sisters Rakelle and Celeste and then Rakelle's friend. It was pretty windy but sunny and somewhat warm. While Carlos fished the girls ate, layed in the sun and played Monopoly Deal. We were there for a good 3ish hours. Carlos didn't have any luck catching anything but it was fun!
- After fishing Tyana, Carlos and I went to buy a few presents for Rakelle, her bday was on the 1st. Then we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner! It was yummy although, I did choke pretty bad. It scared me. Tylos were talking to the waitress and I was eating the delish rolls and all of the sudden I was choking. I couldn't breath and was trying to cough and what not Tylos didn't even realize what was going on. I finally saved myself and have a coughing spell afterwards for about 15 minutes. Lol!
- After dinner we got tickets to go see the new Xmen movie. I wasn't too thrilled to see it but they had it planned before I was even going to be going to Logan, so I thought I would just go and have fun! We were sitting waiting for the movie to start and all of the sudden the projector broke. We sat for about 30 mins while they tried to fix it. They couldn't fix it so they gave everyone a free pass to see anymore we want. You can only use it in a few specified theaters, so I either need to go back to Logan, a few places in UT or Montpelier, ID to watch a movie. LAME!
- So, we went to go rent a movie from a movie place and went back to the house. We lasted maybe 15 mins and we all fell asleep.
- The end of Friday! :)
Saturday the 4th.
- Woke up about 8:00AM. It was such a nice day out, Carlos and his dad worked in the yard for a good chunk of the morning and afternoon. Tyana and I played monopoly deal as we ate pancakes for breakfast. Once finished with breakfast, we got ready for the day.
- They were planning on having a birthday BBQ for Tyana and Rakelle. So, we helped cut veggies and such and got ready for that. Rakelle had some friends come over. I also was going to SLC this day and so Zeke came to pick me up and got there just in time for the BBQ. We ate and then headed to SLC. We just relaxed the rest of the day and on Sunday.
Skipping to Monday the 6th since we didn't do anything on Sunday.
- BIRTHDAY!! Woo!! It just doesn't seem like it's my birthday anymore since I moved away from home and don't really have a bday party. Thats ok, can't stay a kid for your whole life.
- We left SLC early to head to Bear Lake. I have been wanting to go to Bear Lake since I found out about it back in 2008. There had been a few times we were going to go but ended up not going. It was so worth it waiting to go with Zeke! We got there about 10AM! Everything was pretty much closed until 11AM. One thing that was open was a bike rental place. So, we rented a tandem bike cart thingy. Lol! It was so much but a lot of work for your legs. After that we just drove around and ended up at the beach. We played there for a little until 11 and then went to go have a famous Raspberry Shake! Let me tell you, AMAZINGLY GOOD! I guess they are made with the raspberries that are grown there in Bear Lake. After that we checked out some little shops, checked out a few beaches and rental shops. We headed to the Marina where we rented a jet ski for an hour. I had never been on one before. I have always wanted to but never had the chance. Now, the time was here and I was super nervous. But I got on the thing and away we went. We just rented one since it was pretty expensive. Zeke drove us out of the marina, onto the lake. We didn't go that fast at first, so we could get use to it and then there we went. I wrapped my arms around him and held on tight. We went 43mph. Ah! It was fast! He wanted me to try and drive. I hesitated for a while then we switched spots . My whole body was tense and I was shaking. I pressed on the gas and I screamed. Haha! I got use to it a little but I wanted him to drive. We switched again and we had some fun making our own waves and wave running. There weren't to many boats out that made good waves. It was fun though and surprisingly not too cold. The hour was up and we had to return the ski.
- We then changed our clothes because the ones we were wearing got all wet.
- We finished with that and headed to eat some lunch at one of the little stands. It was good and had another raspberry shake! I'm telling you, they were so good!
- After lunch we went to the beach again and enjoyed the sun. Shortly after, we headed back to SLC. Bear Lake is small and we had pretty much did everything we could afford. So, we headed back to SLC. Instead of going through Logan to get back to SLC we went the Wyoming way. It was a couple hour drive but fun! When we got back to SLC we bought my Salt Lake Express ticket back to Rexburg. I couldn't find a ride back here. Oh well! We just hungout and went to eat at the Cheesecake Factory. Then I left at 8:30 for Rexburg. It was a late trip. I got back to Rexburg around 1AM. I got about 4ish hours of sleep then got up for classes and now here I am!
It was such an amazing weekend. It was fun! I loved every minute of it! The weather was super nice all weekend, the company was more than awesome! And I turned 21! Now back to life in Rexburg with wind, rain and classes.

Yea your birthday celebrations are gone now unless you plan something OR you marry some one that knows how to throw a party. But at least you did lots of things and had fun! That counts! Happy 21!!!
