Zoo Update

So, just an update on the job. It has been a week and 4 days! It has been pretty good. I've only been working the Carousel. The other two things I could be working at are done the end of this month, which is only a couple days. So, sooner or later I will work the front gate but thats probably not for another month. Thats okay with me. Its so intimidating. Zoo Lights start in November, I believe, so it will get pretty busy, which is good because right now during the week it is really slow. I will either read a book, what read a book? Yes, its called The Bean Trees. Or I will clean the windows or water the plants. I will do a lot of this in the month of October because thats the slowest month. I work a total of 7 days from October 1-15. Oh well!

As of work today...

It was really really windy and cold. There are the tables with those umbrella type thingies over them, and the umbrella flew off and almost hit a family. These umbrellas are huge. So, someone from the Cafe saw it happen and walkie talkie the front gate and told them then they walkie talkie me and I had to go and get it and put it back in the table. Lucky, there was a guy outside, who was hilarious. He picked it up and held it like it was a ginormous umbrella. He says, " Well, if it rains today someone has a really big umbrella to use!" I laughed so hard. He was like, Well alright, homie, have a a good day and if it rains make sure you come and get this for cover! Ha ha! Well, I thought it was funny and thought Id share!

Plus, the kids are so funny and cute to watch when they get all excited to ride! Its fun!
