Awww feelings

So, I am watching The Biggest Loser and they had a competition to whom could make a food kit and load them in the truck fastest for the organization Feeding America to send off to those that are less fortunate and need food. They said that 1 in 8 people starved last year. I can't remember the total number but it was a lot. That right there just hits me and makes me sad. One reason, I love watching this show is because they are helping people that are in risk of dieing sooner than later. Helping people become healthy and more energized. This is exactly what I want to do for a career. It just gives me a great feeling knowing that I can help people live longer! I JUST LOVE IT! Ha.

Another thing that had happened on this show was that the winners of that challenge I mentioned above, won groceries for a year. The team that lost, had a girl on it that has five children and aren't that wealthy and with her two first born had gone to food banks and such to get help. One of the teammates on the winning team just felt bad for her and was thinking he didn't need a year of free groceries so, he gave them to her. I thought that was so sweet and I got goosebumps and just was like "aww" and I even teared a little.

All this makes me think I can help people like this through service somehow. I'm going to search for organizations or some type of group that does things like this. Maybe there is something through the hospital or boys and girls club where I can join and help. I want to help children and adults. If anyone knows of anything, please let me know! Mainly in Tacoma because I am moving back there this month! :)
